JOHNSONBURG – Ram seniors Aiden Zimmerman and Rayce Milliard defeated quality Brookville opponents on Thursday. The Raiders improved to 14-2 with a 48-13 win that included six forfeits.
Zimmerman improved to 25-5 with a 15-4 major decision over senior Coyha Brown (21-8) at 160-pounds. Brown advanced to states last season in the same weight class. Zimmerman placed sixth at Hershey in the class.
Milliard picked up his 28th win, which is near the top among District 9 wrestlers. He was a 10-3 winner over Raider senior Easton Belfiore at 172-pounds. The Brookville grappler placed fourth at regionals last year to earn a trip to states.
A forfeit for Ram freshman Gage Singer at 107-pounds rounded out the scoring.
