Rails to Trails

Work is currently being done to the first two miles of the Clarion-Little Toby Trail and is closed off to the public.

On Tuesday, a restoration project at the trailhead of the Clarion-Little Toby Trail began. The project will extend to the first two miles of the trail.

These areas will be closed through the next week, but the trail can still be accessed from Island Run and beyond.

The Tricounty Rails to Trails Association wanted to give thanks to Dalton Sheasley, Owner of Fairview Asphalt Paving and Co, for his support and help with gravel replacement. They also acknowledged that restoring the entire eighteen-mile length of the trail is their top priority, and expressed that it is not an easy task to engage in.

For additional information on this trail restoration project and how to help, contact President of the TriCounty Rails to Trails Association, Aimee Kemick, for further details at tricountyrailstotrails@gmail.com.
