Ridgway Vacation Bible School ends with Back to School Bash

The 6th annual Ridgway Community Vacation Bible School was held this past week at the Firemen’s Carnival grounds, offering four days of activities and fellowship free of charge participants age four through 12th grade.
“Many of our volunteers have been on board since our very first year, so we have become a bit of a church family of our own,” said Stevie Gustafson one of the main organizers of the week-long event.
The Back to School Bash took place on Friday, organized by many volunteers and funded largely by Walmart grants and other Ridgway donors. Stocked backpacks were provided for any student in kindergarten through 12th grade. Games, snacks, prizes, and a meal were provided at no cost to the children and their families, and even to those who did not attend the camp as the event was open to the public.
