In an extended session of the Ridgway Area School District Board on Tuesday evening, updates on newly implemented programs and student disciplinary matter were the main focus of the meeting with two executive sessions needed to discuss personnel, labor relations, litigation, and safety issues.
Under public comment, Bill Seeley brought up the fact that no reassessment of Elk County has been done since 1984 and that people should not be taxed on property evaluated at that time. He also announced he will be running as a write-in candidate for the school board in the fall election.
