Ridgway Area educators attend Seneca Energy STEM training class

Ridgway teachers, school administration and governing board members attended a National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) STEM training for elementary through high school students Thursday hosted by Seneca Resources.
With over a week until classes begin for the 2019-2020 school year, teachers gathered at the FSG Elementary School in Ridgway to take part in the one-day training on special skill books provided through NEED and Seneca Resources.
Breakfast and lunch were also provided.
Seneca Resources Company, LLC, the exploration and production segment of National Fuel Gas Company, headquartered in Houston, Texas, explores for, develops and produces natural gas and oil reserves in California and the Appalachian Region including the Marcellus and Utica Shales. Seneca Resources is working with school districts throughout the region to help attract students to STEM-related studies and careers by partnering with NEED.
