Oscar Mayer Hotdog passes through Ridgway

One of the descendants of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, first developed in 1951, made a quick stop outside the Ridgway Chamber of Commerce Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. When asked, the driver said he was on his way to tour Buffalo, New York.
According to the company press release, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be touring four Walmarts this weekend in western New York, staying at each from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The first will be Friday, Dec. 7 at 350 East Fairmount Ave. Lakewood, New York. Saturday it will be at 10401 Bennett Rd. in Fredonia, New York.
Sunday the Wienermobile will be at the Walmart in Springville, New York at 317 South Cascade Drive, and Monday at 1869 Plaza Drive in Olean, New York.
