Kane’s Stewart named to Big 30 roster

Chris Stewart (pictured tipping a pass) of the Kane Wolves will join teammates Kevin Scharba, Teddy Race, Jake Alcorn, and Aaron Hottel on the Pennsylvania roster for the 47th Annual Big 30 Charities Classic, according to the latest Big 30 Committee’s release. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers are going ahead with plans to hold the game Saturday, Aug. 1 at Bradford’s Parkway Field. Sheffield’s Jacob Disshon and Caden Smead were also announced and will join teammate Walker Kyler on the roster. Warren’s Alex Anderson was also announced and will join previously named Dragons Tony Batiste and Ryan Arnold. This week’s additions upped the PA roster to 40 players. Ridgway Head coach Mark Heindl and assistants Mickey Delhunty, Rick Viglioni, Jack Kifer, and Tony Difilippi will coach the Keystone state team in the annual matchup between PA and New York graduated all-stars.
