The Elk County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, September 17,  at 10 a.m. in Conference Room #2 at the Courthouse Annex in Ridgway. Present at the meeting were all three Commissioners, Dan Freeburg, Janis Kemmer, and Matt Quesenberry, along with Lee Neureiter, chief clerk; Samantha Beaver, deputy chief clerk; Solicitor Tom Wagner; Kimberly S. Frey, director of elections; Bekki Titchner, recycling/solid waste coordinator; and Tyler Daniels, CPE, chief assessor with the Elk County Tax Bureau.
Skip Lichtenstein of EagleView was also in attendance to give a presentation.
The minutes of previous meetings and the agenda were quickly approved by the commissioners.
Before the main portion of the meeting began, Lichtenstein, a district manager from EagleView, gave a presentation to the commissioners on their technologies and uses by many other local governments in Pennsylvania. The commissioners have been in contact with EagleView for some time along with the Elk County Tax Bureau about implementing this technology.
