Commissioners open bid on Borough Curb Cuts project

The Elk County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Courthouse Annex in Ridgway.
Present at the meeting were all three commissioners, Dan Freeburg, Janis Kemmer, and Matt Quesenberry, Lee Neureiter, chief clerk, Samantha Beaver, deputy clerk, Solicitor Tom Wagner and Kimberly S. Frey, director of elections. In addition, Paul McCurdy Ridgway Borough Manager and The Ridgway Borough Engineer were present.
The minutes of previous meetings and the agenda were approved by the commissioners.
A bid opening for the FY 2018 Ridgway Borough Curb Cuts Project, which retrofits existing curb crossing to be handicapped accessible, after a delay of two weeks searching for more bidders proceeded.
