Louise M. Servideo, 95, of Blue Ridge Christian Home, Bealeton, Va., died Wednesday evening, Oct. 27, 2010, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 29, 1915 in Pittsfield, Mass., daughter of the late Bruno and Rose Cattropa Tucci.
She married Joseph G. Servideo on Sept. 25, 1938. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1971. She later married Charles Blochberger in 1996, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She lived most of her life in Johnsonburg, lived in Prescott, Ariz. for six years and spent the past three and a half years in Virginia. She attended Johnsonburg schools, was a member of Holy Rosary Church and was employed by Sylvania in Emporium for five years.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Joseph Servideo and his wife Alice of Plains, Va.; a daughter, Barbara Bolimos of Beaver Falls; three grandchildren, David, Matthew and Nathan Servideo; a great-grandson, Ethan McGinnis; and a brother, Floyd Tucci of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and Michael Tucci; and three sisters, Josephine Apa, Mary Caruso and Theresa Caruso.
A Mass of Christian Burial for the late Louise M. Servideo will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Monday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
