Ridgway's T.J. Schlimm took medalist honors at the 18-hole Bradford Invitational held Saturday afternoon at Penn Hills Country Club.
Schlimm shot a 74, including a 35 on the front nine.
"It was a great tournament for us in preparation of next Monday's District 9 Tournament," Ridgway coach Dave Zawatski said. "None of the kids had ever played the course, and they did a nice job under windy conditions. What a performance for T.J. Schlimm to fire a 74 and win medalist honors in such a talented field."
Elliott Struble of Elk County Catholic was second with a 76 (37-39) and Cameron Grumley of Johnsonburg was third with a 78 (37-41).
Rudy Gleixner of St. Marys was seventh with a score of 81 (42-39) and Nathan Burgeson of Johnsonburg tied for ninth with a score of 84 (38-46).
Josh Roselli of Ridgway and Mitchell Struble of Elk County Catholic tied for 14th with scores of 86 (43-43). Mitchell Gilmore was tied for 17th with an 87 (43-44) along with Brandon Schlimm of ECC with a score of 87 (41-46).
Matt Aiello tied for 21st with an 88 (44-44) and Owen Schreiber of St. Marys tied for 25th with an 89 (42-47).
Jake Klawuhn of Ridgway finished at 90 (44-46) and Mitchell Stark of Ridgway carded a 91 (45-46).
Quinn Cunningham of St. Marys finished with a 96 (48-48) and CJ Herbstritt of Johnsonburg finished at 99 (49-50).
In the team results, Elk County Catholic was the champion with a score of 249. Ridgway (White), a team consisting of T.J. Schlimm, Roselli and Klawuhn took second at 250. Johnsonburg was fourth at 261. Ridgway (Maroon), a team consisting of Gilmore, Aiello and Stark, tied for sixth at 266 with St. Marys.
Ridgway is scheduled to have a road match Tuesday at Bradford. Johnsonburg boys golf is scheduled to have a road match at Elk County Catholic Wednesday.
