The St. Marys Area track and field teams played host to the Johnsonburg and Clearfield squads on Tuesday at Dutch Country Stadium.
The Dutchmen swept their meets, defeating Johnsonburg 120-30 and Clearfield 109.25 to 39.75.
The Lady Dutch lost to the Ramettes 90-44 and to the Lady Bisons 88-53.
For the Dutchmen against the Rams, Jimmy Werner was a triple winner, taking the shot put, discus and javelin.
Gideon Woelfel, Brian Merritt and Mitchell O’vell were double winners. Woelfel won the 800 and 1600 runs, while Merritt won the 100 and 200 dashes and O’vell won the 400 dash and 300 hurdles.
Single winners for St. Marys were Josh Burns in the 110 hurdles, Philip Danz in the long jump and Trenton Schreiber in the triple jump. The 400, 1600 and 3200 relay teams also won.
Cody Schreiber was a double winner for the Rams, taking the 3200 run and the pole vault. Mike Shuey won the high jump.
Against Clearfield, Werner was a triple winner in the shot put, discus and javelin. Woelfel was a double winner in the 800 and 1600 runs, while Schreiber won the triple jump, O’vell the 400 dash, Merritt the 200 dash and Matt Hoffman the pole vault. All three relays also won.
In the girls’ meet with Johnsonburg, Adair Gennocro led the Lady Dutch, winning the 400 dash and 1600 run.
Shannon Bridges won the 800 run and Gina Schneider won the 3200 run. The 3200 relay also won.
For Johnsonburg, Ashley Imbrogno was a triple winner, taking the discus, javelin and shot put. Gabbi Benninger, Chelsea Benson and Rhianon Fowler were double winners. Benninger won the pole vault and triple jump, Benson the 100 and 300 hurdles and Fowler the high and long jumps.
Single winners for the Ramettes were Emily Dubler in the 100 dash, Taylor Wolfel in the 200 dash and the 400 and 1600 relay teams.
The St. Marys squads return to action Friday when they compete in the West Central Coaches Invitational in Altoona.
