"It was a nice win especially after getting beat bad last week, these kids don't give up no matter the score," Johnsonburg boys varsity tennis coach Gregg Dauber said. "J.P. Allegretto and Mason Martonik are playing well at No. 1 doubles, that could be interesting at doubles districts. Shane Bickford came back form being down in the first set to win his first match of the year in singles.
"Mason Walters and Tommy Imbrogno also played well at No. 3 doubles so we are improving each match and it's nice to see. These kids practice hard and it pays off in the matches, and win or lose, they deserve it."
