The 13th installment of the Ridgway Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous starts today and event organizers couldn't be happier with their plans for the week.
In addition to carvers doing their thing on South Broad Street to Center Street, then Center Street down to Mill Street, and Court Street as well, they also will be performing at other locations.
According to Liz Boni, one of the event's organizers, carvers will be performing at Country Squirrel Outfitters, Keystone True Value Hardware, the former Ridgway Record office parking lot at 20 Main St., Lazy River Canoe Rental, and Palumbo's Meat Market.
ATA will have a bus running at the regular rate today, Sunday, and Friday.
There also will be seminars scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon in the dining room of the American Legion along the 300 block of Main Street in Ridgway.
"Anyone who wants to come by can do so," Boni said.
