BROCKPORT – Horton Township Supervisor Jeff Johnson was reelected as chairman during Tuesday night's reorganizational meeting.
Newly-elected supervisor Levi P. Donahue was appointed as vice chairman. Donahue replaced outgoing supervisor Jack Carlson, who did not seek reelection.
Dennis Thompson was appointed as permanent secretary and treasurer.
Supervisors voted in favor of raising township employees' hourly wages by 25 cents.
David Pontzer was reappointed as solicitor.
The regular monthly meeting will continue to take place on the second Wednesday of the Month at 6 p.m.
During the regular meeting Tuesday, supervisors approved the FEMA [Federal Emergency Management Agency] flood plain ordinance.
"If we don't pass this ordinance anybody living in the flood plain can't buy flood insurance," Thompson said. "And you couldn't get money from the bank unless it's insured."
