Ridgway boys golf was victorious Tuesday afternoon with a 207-223 victory over Bradford at Laurel Mill Golf Course.
Jordan Lundin led Ridgway with a 40. Josh Mitchell, Jesse Reynolds and Jake Klawuhn all carded scores of 41. Eric Matheson rounded out the top five with a 44.
T.J. Schlimm finished with a 46 and Josh Roselli had a mark of 48. Matt Aiello carded a 49 for the Elkers.
Bradford’s Josh Stauffer earned medalist honors with a 39. Jeff Cattoni had a 45 for the Owls. Tom Morlock and Josh Mongillo each had scores of 46 and Seth Mollander had a score of 47.
In other scores for Bradford, Paul DePalma finished with a 48 while Derrick Milne and Ryan Strauss each had scores of 50.
“That was a nice comeback win for us against a good Bradford team that features the best player in the district,” Ridgway coach Dave Zawatski said. “The course did not play easy [Tuesday] which made our consistent play even more impressive.”
Zawatski said he was impressed with the trio of Elkers who finished at 41.
“Josh, Jesse and Jake have been working hard at their game and I am glad they found some success [Tuesday],” Zawatski said. “We need that to continue."
Ridgway (6-2) will play at St. Marys today at 3:30 p.m. to take on the Dutch and Kane in a tri-match.
