James J. Curci, 83, of West Seneca, N.Y., died at Mercy Hospital on June 11, 2011.
He was born July 22, 1927, in Ridgway, the son of the late Harry and Susan Minilli Curci.
He married Gerda A. Oechsle, who survives.
He was the proud owner of the Queen City Dental Lab for 30 years.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a veteran of WWII.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Harry Curci of Sutton, Mass. and Anthony Curci of Phoneix, Ariz.; and by a sister, Theresa Marroni of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Joseph, John, Michael, Mario and Anthony Curci.
A Memorial Mass for James Curci will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna, N.Y.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hoy Funeral Home in West Seneca, N.Y.
