Johnsonburg and Ridgway played three and a half innings of softball Tuesday afternoon before rain drenched the field and forced umpires to suspend play until a later date.
The Ramettes had an 11-7 lead but the Lady Elkers were unable to bat in the home half of the fourth inning.
The visitors broke open a 7-7 tie in the top of the fourth inning as Justis Myers hit an apparent triple to clear the bases, score three runs and give Johnsonburg a 10-7 lead. Mazur put the ball in play and scored Thorwart thanks to a fielding error at third base to make the score 5-3. On the same play, Mazur was called out as she tried to advance to second base to end the inning.
