Women Who Care 'Sings with the Stars'

Photo submitted – These special "guests" will provide the music and theme for six stations at the upcoming "Women Who Care Sings With the Stars" event on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Any area woman is eligible to attend this charitable giving event which pools funding through the Elk County Community Foundation to give to organizations hat enhance the lives of Elk County women and their families.

ST. MARYS – Some special guests, great music and fabulous food will make for an unforgettable evening at the upcoming "Women Who Care Sings with the Stars" event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Gunners Restaurant in St. Marys.
This fun night will allow women to meet and mingle while moving between several themed stations that feature music and food by favorite artists. For example, the Frank Sinatra station will feature the song "New York, New York," a tiny martini shrimp shooter appetizer and a Big Apple martini; each station will have its own special items. The food stations will be open from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the hour-long granting and membership meeting. The cost for "Sings With the Stars" is $20 and includes a free drink ticket. The reservation deadline is Monday, Oct. 8 and reservations should be made by calling 834-2125.
