William H. Brunner

William H. Brunner, 77, of 3419 Grant Rd., Ridgway died Saturday afternoon, August 3, 2013, at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
He was born November 13, 1935 in Ridgway, son of the late Walter H. and Hattie (States) Brunner.
He married Lois J. Goodreau on April 24, 1954, and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2008.
He had resided in Ridgway all his life and was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ and also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He had been employed by the Old Tyme Bakery, Rich's Chevy Garage, and retired from Stackpole Carbon Company after 43 years of service.
He is survived by the seven children, Deborah Armagost and her husband Dave of Ridgway, Laura Brunner of Bethel Park, Lawanda Zameroski and her husband James of Ridgway, Rebecca Kirk and her husband Daniel of Springfield, N.J., Roy Allen Brunner of Dallas, Texas, Gary William Brunner and his wife Christie of Davis, Calif., and Darla Bundy and her husband Dave of Ridgway; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Walter (Butch) Brunner and his wife Jan of Ridgway, Ralph Brunner and his wife Donna of St. Marys, and John Brunner and his wife Linda of St. Marys; seven sisters, Jean Turner of Texas, Catherine Allshouse of Ridgway, Susan Matheson and her husband Gary of Ridgway, Ruth Duchi and her husband Jerd of Wilcox, Shirley Miller in Colorado, Cathy Tanous and her husband Mike of Texas, and Carol Jordan and her husband Louie of Wilcox; and numerous nieces and nephews
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy Brunner; two brothers, Donald and Albert Brunner; and three sisters, Donna Mae Brunner, Naomi Ruth Brunner, and Maryetta Brunner.
Funeral Services for William H. Brunner will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home in Ridgway on Wednesday, August 7, at 12:30 p.m. Officiating will be Ronald Burkett, Pastor of the Hallton Church.
Burial will follow at Ott Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Ridgway Ambulance Corp. or to the Ridgway YMCA.
