William A. Freeburg

William A. Freeburg, 78, of 153 Ridge Rd., Kersey, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home in Hollidaysburg.
He was born Jan. 3, 1934 in Toby, son of the late John and Esther Hedlund Freeburg.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1952.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1956 to 1958.
He is survived by a sister, Marie Anstrom of Ridgway; and a brother, Robert Freeburg of Ridgway.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Gibson; and by five brothers, Arthur, Raymond, LeRoy, Eric and Elmer Freeburg.
Funeral services for William A. Freeburg will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joni Williams, pastor of the Kersey United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Maria Lutheran Cemetery in Dagus Mines.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
