William E. "Bill" Lyle

William E. "Bill" Lyle, age 73, of McCain Street in Brockway, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at DuBois Regional Medical Center
He was born May 5, 1938, in Brockway, son of Mary Katherine Lyle.
On July 17, 1960, he married Caroline Caggiano, she survives.
He was a member at St. Tobias in Brockway, and a member of the S.O.I. Club and the Sportsmens Club, both in Brockway.
Bill enjoyed racing on every level, from the local ranks all the way up through NASCAR. He also enjoyed playing cards and fishing.
He was retired and had been employed as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Tamburlin Coal Company.
He is survived by his wife Caroline of Brockway; one son, William G. Lyle of Brockway; one daughter, Susan K. Lyle of Falls Creek; and a granddaughter, Elysha Lyle of Brockway.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc., 1033 4th Avenue Brockway, Pa. 15824.
A Mass of Christian Burial, will take place Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding.
A Vigil Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the funeral home.
Place of burial will be St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway.
