Violet M. Clouser

Violet M. Clouser, age 91, formerly of the Ridgmont Assisted Living facility in Ridgway, died Wednesday morning, April 10, 2013 at the DuBois Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born June 12, 1921 in Kane, daughter of the late Jerry and Bessie (Ruckman) Eshbaugh. She was married to William Von Hacht who died Nov. 10, 1969; she then was married to Calvin Clouser who died Dec. 26, 1987. She had resided in Ridgway for over 60 years and was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of the Kane Area High School. Violet had been employed by G.C. Murphy Co. for 25 years.
She is survived by three grandchildren, William Von Hacht III of Chula Vista, Calif., Kimberly Jaques and her husband Charles of Ridgway, and Sandra Lawrie and her husband Stephen of Ridgway; five great-grandchildren, Ben, Joe, and Anna Jaques, and Isabella and Gabriel Lawrie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, William George Von Hacht; one sister, Evelyn Yanek; and two brothers, Jerry and Howard Eshbaugh.
Funeral services for Violet M. Clouser will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Ridgway Public Library. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.
