BRADFORD BYPASS PROJECT UPDATE |

CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT/District 2) issues the following update for the Route 219, McKean County/Bradford Bypass project for the week of August 11. Contractor on the $55.4 million project is Mascaro Contracting. All work is weather and schedule dependent. The work schedule for next week includes the following:
The contractor will continue to restrict traffic to one lane on route 219 northbound at various locations during daylight hours to perform various work. Both lanes will open at the end of the work day. Route 219 southbound continues to be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day. Workers are still present throughout the work area. Please be cautious and courteous when traveling through the work zone. Trucks will be entering and exiting the highway at various locations throughout the project. Motorists are advised to watch for slow moving and stopped vehicles through the entire work zone. All ramps through the project area are now open, including: Northbound on and off ramps at Kendall Avenue. All northbound and southbound ramps at Owens Way; northbound off ramp at Elm Street; southbound on ramp at Elm Street; northbound on ramp at Forman Street; southbound off ramp at Forman Street; southbound on and off ramps at Kendall Avenue; and all ramps at Bolivar Drive.
