Jones Township Municipal Authority discusses delinquency By Greg Reedy
WILCOX - The Jones Township Municipal Authority met Wednesday night in Wilcox. The treasuerer's report was read and there is a total of $138,550.39 for the Authority right now. There is just one renter overdue for June and there was not much concern for that since the renter has been steady in payment. A total of 15 letters were sent out by County Solicitor Tom Wagner for those who fell behind in bill payments. Seven responses came back already with payments done in full. Eight responded with partial payments. There were many requests for payment. Keppy's Appliance Repair for $115, for an oven in an upstairs apartment. C.W. Hardware for $28.57, Paris Uniform for $32.20, VISA for $51.75 for office supplies, Selective Insurance for $1,474, Kane Auto Parts for $20.78, Northwest Bank for $7 for a deposit stamp, the postmaster for $108.64 for bills in May, a total of $6,126.85, Meyer & Wagner for $15, a cell phone reimbursement for $50 to Robert M. Johnson, $11,200 to RUS Transfer, $70.97 to Wilcox Garage for truck inspection fuel filter and oil and $3,000 to PLGIT Savings along with utilities, payroll and taxes. The next scheduled meeting is July 16 at 7 p.m. at the Jones Township Municipal Building in Wilcox. |
