By Heather Tressler Superintendent Walter Fitch announced at last night's meeting the district's regular audit is complete. The audit had found a few minor errors. All administrative and others need to return financial statements in a timely manner. The deadline for these reports is March. People transportation was under reported. There were a few school bus qualification irregularities such as: drivers' license, criminal background checks. The audit had noted a few observations they had noticed such as: to seek transportation providers, look at state formulas, and place bids; develop a procedure manual and transportation provider, if a school bus driver has a driving related offense to notify the district. High School Principal Donald Wismar said the PSSA writings are underway, with the reading and math to follow in the spring. "I just want to encourage parents to stress to their children to do well," Wismar said.
