ST. MARYS - No injuries were reported when The Station Inn on Depot Street in St. Marys was heavily damaged by fire Monday night. Upon arrival at 10:42 p.m., members of the Crystal Fire Department discovered the blaze in the bar area and west outside the building. After extinguishing the main fire, personnel spent several more hours searching the interior attempting to find the remaining hot spots. While the bar and outside wall were heavily damaged, officials said the remainder of the building sustained severe water, smoke and heat damage. Fire officials are still looking into the cause of the fire. Providing assistance at the scene were St. Marys City Police and the St. Marys Ambulance Service. The Fox Township Volunteer Fire Department provided mutual aid.
