A blown transformer on South Mill Street yesterday caused several buildings to lose power. The outage happened at approximately 3:25 p.m. Monday afternoon when citizens on the scene reported hearing three loud “pops”. Emergency personnel were awaiting the arrival of Allegheny Power to confirm the exact location of the damaged transformer.
