UAVSL all-stars named

The Upper Allegheny Valley Soccer League recently released their all-stars and final standings for the 2013 season. Three players from ECC - Corey Koss, Emma Daghir, and Erin Petrosky - and two from SMA - Tim Mosebarger and Holly Shields - were named to their respective all-star teams.
Ridgway won the Girls North division with an 8-0 record followed by Port Allegany 5-3, St. Marys Area 5-3, Kane Area 2-6, and Smethport Area 0-8.
The Boys North division went to Port Allegany, who finished with a 10-0 record. Coudersport Area was second with an 8-2 record followed by Smethport Area 4-5-1, St. Marys Area 4-6, Ridgway Area 3-6-1, and Kane Area 0-10.
Curwensville Area led the Girls Central division with an 8-2 record followed by Brookville Area 7-2-1, DuBois Central Catholic 6-4, Elk County Catholic 5-3-2, Brockway Area 2-7-1, and Punxsutawney Area 0-10.
Punxsutawney Area finished on top the Boys Central division with an 8-2 record. In second was DuBois Central Catholic with a 6-4 record followed by Brookville Area 5-4-1, Elk County Catholic 5-4, Brockway Area 4-4-1, and Curwensville Area 0-10.
Standings for the South divisions were not available.
Ridgway Area senior Gabby Benninger was named the MVP for the Girls North Division All-Stars. All named to the Girls North Division All-Star squad were Kane Area seniors Taylor Bucheit and Brittany Kowatch; Port Allegany juniors Somer Buchsenschutz and Lynae Delacour; Ridgway Area seniors Angela DeAngelo, Kassa Kocjancic, and Kayli Methaney, and sophomore Jenna DeAngelo; Smethport Area senior Sarah Vinca; and St. Marys Area junior Holly Shields.
