Two-vehicle crash in Fox Township

FOX TWP. – The Ridgway-based state police report responding to a two-vehicle collision that occurred at 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 along SR 948 at its intersection with Robin Road in Fox Township. According to police, a 2001 Chevrolet S10 operated by Clarence E. Bolles III, 44, of Kersey, was traveling north on Robin Road when Bolles failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Robin Road and SR 948 and traveled into the intersection. A 2004 Chevrolet Tailblazer operated by Tracy M. Robinson, 36, of Kersey, was traveling north on SR 948 and was unable to stop. The front bumper of the Trailblazer struck the passenger door of the S10. The S10 spun in a clockwise direction and rolled onto the driver's side. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection. Bolles received minor injuries in the collision, while Robinson and her 17-year-old male passenger were uninjured. Bolles was cited for PAVC 3323, Stop Signs and Yield Signs, at District Court 59-3-03. Assisting at the scene were the Fox Township Fire Department, Fox Township Ambulance, and St. Marys Ambulance.
