Thomas P. "Tom" Weaver

Thomas P. "Tom" Weaver, 63, of 613 First Ave., Johnsonburg, died Wednesday evening, March 28, 2012, at his residence following an illness of 15 months.
He was born on March 24, 1949 in Vestaburg, son of the late Clarence and Isabelle Kittle Weaver.
He married Mary Winifred Hoh on March 17, 1973 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, and she survives.
He resided in Johnsonburg most of his life and graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1969. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg Fire Department and Johnsonburg Fire Police, Central PA District Volunteer Firemen's Association, Tri-County Firemen's Association, Knights of Columbus, Rolfe Sportsmen's Club, St. Marys Sportsmen's Club, and the Weedville American Legion. He was a licensed pyrotechnician.
He was employed by Muccio Transportation for eight years and was also employed by Tillack Funeral Coach Service of Johnsonburg. He had been employed by Motion Control for 35 years.
In addition to his wife at home, he is survived by two sons, TJ Weaver of Johnsonburg and Patrick Weaver and his wife Aleta of Johnsonburg; a daughter, Melanie, Mrs. Craig Collins of Ridgway; several grandchildren; three brothers, Dan Weaver and his wife Sophie of Sault St. Marie, Mich., Joseph Weaver and his wife Gay of Grafton, W.Va., and Mark Weaver and his wife Reba of Lexington, N.C.; and two sisters, Clarissa, Mrs. Bill Lee Yonker of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mary, Mrs. Steven Groll of St. Marys.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Aiden Collins in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas P. "Tom" Weaver will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Monday, April 2 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Eric Vogt, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, St. Marys.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
