Thomas J. Freemer

Thomas J. Freemer, age 76, of Burt Street in DuBois, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 3, 1934 in Brockway. He was the son of the late Joseph E. & Mary V. (Gladish) Freemer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving six years.
On Sept. 12, 1964 at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Ridgway, he married Patricia R. (Shipe) Freemer. She survives.
He retired from DuBrook, Inc. in DuBois after many years of service. After his retirement, he was a self employed concrete finisher. He enjoyed his work and he loved to go to his camp. He was an avid hunter.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in DuBois.
He is also survived by his sister, Rita M. Freemer of DuBois, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald J. Freemer; and a sister, Doris M. Gilbert.
Friends will be received on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
The DuBois Area Honor Guard will conduct a ritual service on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. from the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
