Theresa M. "Daisy" DiNardo

Theresa M. "Daisy" DiNardo, 91, of 440 Center St., Johnsonburg, died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born on July 30, 1922 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Rosario "Sam" and Rose Manno Mannella. On June 22, 1946 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, she married John J. DiNardo, who preceded her in death on July 5, 1980. She resided in Johnsonburg all her life and graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1940.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and loved to do crochet and ceramics. She was employed at Stackpole Carbon Co. for 16 years.
Theresa is survived by a son, John T. DiNardo and his wife Sherry of Raleigh, N.C.; and two daughters, Rose Marie, Mrs. Stephen Regelman of Coudersport, and Cathy, Mrs. Thomas Geer of Johnsonburg; four grandchildren, Dawn Marie Sexton, Curtis Wildnauer, Truly DiNardo Yountz and Carla May Law; two great-grandchildren, Damion and Logan Yountz; and a sister, Madeline Parks of Johnsonburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Imbrogno, and a brother, Augustine Mannella.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Theresa M. "Daisy" DiNardo at Holy Rosary Church on Monday, March 17 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Vogt, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, St. Marys. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg on Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions should be made to Holy Rosary Church.
