Teacher Jeff Gibbs faces 10-day suspension

Photo submitted – Kane High School teacher Jeff Gibbs has been suspended for 10 days as punishment for allegedly violating school policy on Internet use. He is accused of using a school computer on school time to write and send some 50 emails in May for business linked with the Kane Area Education Association (KAEA). Gibbs is president of the KAEA, the union representing about 100 Kane teachers.
