Susie M. Imbrogno, 86, of 522 Fourth Ave., Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, June 22, 2012 at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys following a brief illness.
She was born on Feb. 5, 1926 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Rosario "Sam" and Rose Manno Mannella.
She married Michael A. Imbrogno on June 12, 1948 in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1986.
Mrs. Imbrogno resided in Johnsonburg her entire life and graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1945.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church, Holy Rosary Funeral Luncheon Committee and the Johnsonburg Senior Center.
She was employed by Bucktail Bank in Johnsonburg for 15 years, retiring in 1998. She had worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. for 18 years and Elk County Hospital for three years.
Mrs. Imbrogno is survived by two sisters, Theresa "Daisy" DiNardo and Madeline Parks, both of Johnsonburg; and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Augustine Mannella.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Susie M. Imbrogno will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be David J. Wilson, pastor. Interment will be at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.
