WILCOX – The Jones Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting Monday night in the kitchen of the Community Center along Faries Street in Wilcox.
Chairman Mike DePonceau reviewed Act 13 notifications for four conventional and unconventional wells in Jones and Ridgway Townships.
DePonceau announced that Kelsey O'Rourke of Jones Township was awarded this year's scholarship from the Elk County Association of Township Officials.
A request was received from Brenda Hodgdon for changes to be made to the open burning policy.
The last little league game is to be played this Friday. Kane Little League has scheduled two games on the field.
The broken backboard in the gym will soon be replaced. Bob Nix of Sport Court found a replacement.
A grant application submitted to the Stackpole-Hall Foundation for the fitness equipment project was not approved.
