The Ridgway Township Supervisors approved an anti-skid bid during their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon.
"We have an anti-skid bid, we bid jointly with the Ridgway borough and Ridgway Township," said chairman John Gardner.
The low bid was awarded to Paper City Transfer Company out of Johnsonburg for $18.75 per ton.
In other business, Gardner noted that the Elk County Commissioners approved an $11,000 paving project for the township.
Supervisors approved next year's minimum municipal obligation [MMO] of $6,026 for the employee's pension plan.
Supervisor Millie Bowers noted that they will receive state aid to help with the funding.
