Supervisors appoint delegates

The Ridgway Township Supervisors held a reorganizational meeting Tuesday afternoon to appoint officials.
Ridgway Township Supervisor John Gardner was reelected as chairman.
Newly elected supervisor Rick Glover was appointed as vice chairman. Glover replaced supervisor Sarah Dickinson, who first joined the board on July 21, 2003.
Milly Bowers was reappointed as secretary and treasurer.
Jim DeVittorio will serve as solicitor.
Supervisors voted in favor of appointing Frank Ferragine as zoning officer and Denise Casilio as assistant code enforcement and junkyard officer.
Russ Braun was appointed as an alternate zoning, code and junkyard officer and as a sewage enforcement officer.
Two vacancies remain for a zoning hearing board alternate.
Centax was appointed as the earned income tax collector. George Sprague served as the earned income tax collector in 2011.
Supervisors voted in favor of raising township employees' hourly wages by 30 cents.
The regular monthly meeting will continue to take place on the third Tuesday of the month at 4:15 p.m.
