Undefeated in the Elk County League playoffs, the St. Marys American Legion Post 103 baseball team headed into the championship game with two chances to beat Bradford. They only needed one, but the outcome was up in the air until the final inning on Tuesday night at Berwind Park. A pitchers' duel between St. Marys' Jack Herzing and Bradford's Garrett Brugh kept the game scoreless until the bottom of the final inning, when a walk-off single by Herzing scored Dan Singer to give St. Marys the 1-0 victory.
