Shirley M. Wolff

Shirley M. Wolff, 81, of 3727 Old State Rd., Daguscahonda, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at Elk Regional Health Center. 
She was born July 27, 1930 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Charles Gerber and Loreena Knowlton Demoizes.
On Jan. 20, 1948, she married the late Miles R. Wolff, who preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1985.
She is survived by five daughters, Darlene Wolff of Georgia, Mary Lou Snyder of DuBois, Donna, Mrs. Greg Meyer of St. Marys, and Roberta, Mrs. Stanley Tomaski of Caledonia, and Jamie, Mrs. Alan Gillen of Kersey; two sons, Randall Wolff and his wife Keryn of Australia, and Travis Wolff and his wife Carrie of St. Marys; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Grace Wildfire of Olean, N.Y., Louise, Mrs. Thomas Stauffer of St. Marys, and Carol Shaner of Tennessee; three brothers, Rick Gerber and his wife Linda of Tennessee, Ron Gerber and his wife Christine of St. Marys, and John Gerber of St. Marys; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Helen Gerber; her stepfather, Joseph Demoizes; a sister, Charla Gerber; and a brother, Robert Gerber.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley M. Wolff will be celebrated at the Queen Of The World Church, 134 Queens Rd., St. Marys, on
Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys, on Sunday afternoon from 2-5 p.m.
