Shirley A. Fabino

Shirley A. Fabino, 79, of 155 1/2 Parade St., St. Marys, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the home of her daughter Shelley Dush of Washington Street, St. Marys, after a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Kane, daughter of the late Hilding and Ruth Sawyers Anderson. On Sept. 24, 1948, in Ridgway, she married Archie J. Fabino, who preceded her in death on Jan. 14,1978.
She attended Ridgway Schools and had lived in St. Marys the past 34 years. She was a retired employee of Powdered Metal Products, having worked for 34 years. Mrs. Fabino was a member of the St. Mary's Church, enjoyed walking, baking, cleaning, loved to spend time and help with her great grandchildren and found contentment with her cat, Wickett.
She is survived by a daughter, Shelley Dush and her husband David of St. Marys; two grandchildren, Aaron Dush and his wife Claire of Columbus, Ohio; and Becky Pistner and her husband Jamie of St. Marys; five great-grandchildren, Toby, Leo and Frankie Dush and James and Gabby Pistner; six sisters, Janet Viglione, Bonnie Lynd, Loretta Herzing, Karen Nero, and Juneette Weisner, all of St. Marys, and Lyn Schrubb of Rapid City, S.D.; and by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley A. Fabino will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Church on Thursday, July 28 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
