Several ordinances address borough dogs

After a string of dog-related incidents, Ridgway borough's dog ordinances have recently come into the light.
According to subsection 103 of Chapter 2 of the borough code pertaining to animals: "It shall be unlawful for the owner of any dog or dogs to allow or permit such dogs to run at large in the borough. Running "at large" includes any dog unrestrained in "any public highway, street, alley, park or any other public land, or upon property with another person other than the owner and not being accompanied by or under the control of the owner or any other person having custody of said dog."
