School board passes tax resolution

JOHNSONBURG – During their recent meeting, the Johnsonburg Area School Board resolved that they will not raise taxes above the Pennsylvania Department of Education's index rate for the 2014-2015 school year. Currently, the adjusted rate for Johnsonburg stands at 3 percent.
This does not guarantee a tax hike, but does provide a guarantee that, if necessary, the increase will not exceed 3 percent.
