Rose Willey Palmer

Rose Willey Palmer, 67, of 146 Stoney Ln., Ridgway, died Jan. 19, 2014 at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Erie.
She was born Feb. 18, 1946, in Corry, daughter of the late Donald and Helen Courtwright Willey.
Rose had worked for the elections in Ridgway. She enjoyed taking rides to Elk County to look for and watch the elk. She Loved phone chats with many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Palmer of Ridgway, whom she married Aug. 1970. They had been married for 43 years.
She also is survived by her children, Brent (Carrie) Bunce and children Emily and Evan of Dallas, Texas, Todd Bunce of Corry; her stepchildren, Cindi (Robert) Riedel of North East, Richard Palmer of Kansas, Lois Mitchem of Michigan, Patricia (Charles) Throop, North East, and Joan (David) Hart, Ripley, N.Y.; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ron and Linda of Jamestown, N.Y., and Hop (Norma) Willey of Clymer, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Craig Bunce.
A funeral service for Rose Willey Palmer will be held at Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer, N.Y. with Rev. Ken Morris and Rev. Charles Palmer, officiating.
Burial will be in Cutting Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at the funeral home.
