Robin J. Weitzel, 51, died on Monday, May 26, 2014.
Born on April 6, 1963 in Millington, Tenn., she was the daughter of Vera (Ray) Kohler of Bradford and Robert (Michaele) Yard of Seneca, S.C.
She was married to Jay Weitzel, he survives.
She had been employed as a computer specialist for Eyecare Professionals in Bradford. She had previously been employed at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. and at Cattaraugus County.
She was very involved with her sons' athletic careers in football, wrestling and baseball and had coached the cheerleaders. She enjoyed doing crafts with her nieces and nephews and followed her nephews' racing careers.
Besides her parents and husband are two sons, Adam (Courtney Cooper) Weitzel of Honolulu, Hawaii and Jerico (Sarah McClain) Weitzel of Ridgway; three brothers, Mark (Patricia) Frederick, John Sandy and David Frederick, all of Limestone, N.Y.; two sisters, Sherri (Jeff) Lapcevich of Grigsby, Ontario, Canada and Jocelyn (Nate) Kane of Columbus, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Brent Frederick of South Carolina, Sarae Frederick, Michael Frederick, Serena Frederick, all of Limestone, N.Y., Kayden Lapcevich, Tereyten Lapcevich, Ryden Lapcevich, Jayen Lapcevich, all of Grigsby, Ontario, Canada, Nathaniel Kane of Columbus, Ohio, Lucas Weitzel and Layne Weitzel of Gainesville, Fla.
A memorial visitation and service for Robin J. Weitzel is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 30 at a time to be announced in the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, N.Y. 14779.
