CLEARFIELD â€“ PennDOT reports that several roadways in the Elk County are closed at this hour due to flooding.â€¨Motorists should not attempt to drive through standing water on roadways.
Water may be deeper than it appears.â€¨The following state routes in Elk County are closed due to flooding. They are expected to re-open once waters recede later today.â€¨
â€¢ Route 120 in the City of St. Marys between Benzinger Avenue and Jackson Road.â€¨
â€¢ Route 219 in Ridgway between Osterhout Street and Route 948.â€¨
â€¢ Route 255 from Elm Road to Chestnut Avenue in Jay Township.â€¨
â€¢ Route 555 between Apple Road in Jay Township and Fred Road in Benezette Township.â€¨
â€¢ Route 948 between Fairmont Road in Ridgway Township and Forestry Road in Jones Township.â€¨
â€¢ Route 1009 (Center Street) in Johnsonburg at the Route 219 intersection.â€¨
â€¢ Route 2003 (Dagus Mine Road/Toby Road) between Skyline Road/South Kersey Road and Route 948 (Kersey Road) in Fox Township.â€¨
â€¢ Route 2007 (South Kersey Road/Irishtown Road/Old Kersey Road/Skyline Road) between Toby Road/Dagus Mine Road and Route 948 (Fairview Road) in Fox Township.â€¨
