Ridgway native pens children's book

Ridgway native Kristen Van Aken, postmaster of the Passumpsic, Vt. Post Office, recently authored a children's book entitled "Pigs! Under the Post Office?"
Based off a real-life situation of pigs living under a carriage house in the process of being converted into a post office, Van Aken penned the whimsical tale of three pigs who sneak into the basement of Postmaster Peachums' office. Matthew Gauvin is the illustrator for the book.
