Ridgway football shuts out Smethport

October 26, 2013

Cameron Grumley runs for 25 yards for Ridgway during an 8-0 win over Smethport.

Ridgway football still has a shot at the District 9 playoffs.
Ridgway kept their playoff hopes alive with an 8-0 win over Smethport Friday night to move to 4-5 on the season on Senior Night.
"We have another shot next week and again, we control our own destiny," Heindl said. "This week, the kids came to practice hard, focused. We fixed a lot of things. It wasn't pretty in the first half offensively but the second half, to take nine minutes off the clock on that first drive and seal the deal, what a great job by our team."
