Ridgway Eagle Scout to help raise support for service dogs

August 17, 2014

Devyn Condon, a life scout in Troop 93 for the Boy Scouts of America is raising support in the forms of donations and aluminum pop tabs for the Service Paws for Central Pennsylvania organization.
The Service Paws for Central Pa. organization was started in November 2011 in Altoona. The mission of the organization is to support service dogs and those they serve.
A major way that it accomplishes its goals is through collecting aluminum can tabs and monetary donations. The tabs can be recycled for cash, which will then go towards the purchasing and care of service dogs in the central Pa. area.
