Ridgway boys basketball dominates DCC

January 26, 2013

Jesse Reynolds glides through the air as Jake Heigel defends for DuBois Central Catholic during a 71-30 win for the Elkers Friday night. Sam Roselli (32) of Ridgway and Michael Krajewski (2) of DCC are also pictured. Reynolds and Roselli led the Elkers with 19 points each.

A complete effort equaled a complete victory for the Elkers Friday night.
Ridgway took control in the first quarter and would build the lead throughout in a 71-30 victory over AML South foe DuBois Central Catholic Friday night at Ridgway Area High School.
"DCC, they play hard, you know they're going to come in here and play hard," Ridgway coach Anthony Allegretto said. "When they went man-to-man, they get into your face. They're physical inside, they got some big bodies and I thought we matched their intensity and were able to do some things against them. They're a well-coached them and I'm very happy with the result."
